Roundbox Productions

Roundbox Productions was founded on September 9, 2007 by the Chief of Staff of the productions, Benjo Ramirez. He worked for Creed of Rock Productions Manila as events head under his mentor, Julius Rafanan. He was inspired by the works of the productions and decided to bring the idea to his hometown, Lipa City. He started the very foundations of the productions through the help of his high school band mates: JR Bugtong, Carlo Suministrado, Mikko Mindanao, Dan Cosico, Ken Mariano and Karl Eva.

The current local music scene is dominated by ROCK BANDS, but still, there were so many amateur rock bands who aspire to enter the local music industry and be heard. What made things worse was the struggle and adversity of these bands to play in the stage for them to be able to expose or share their music. ROUNDBOX PRODUCTIONS believes that the foundation behind a ROCK BAND’S fame is their initial success in promoting their music in the idea-less audience.

Roundbox creates a limelight for amateur rock bands to shine. They envision amateur rock bands to be a vital part of the local music scene and see these bands as foundation of the music industry. Because of our aspiration to give the youth a venue for their music, the productions will stage events that will feature mainstream bands and the youth bands from the local chapter. Each event organized by the productions will have a certain theme wherein they will use music as their medium to be heard.
